Kris
I can't say I envy you. I cannot even imagine
the time and energy put into breeding puppies the 'Right Way." They become family members too quickly and then it's
time to "leave home." We have come to truly appreciate your care and love which produced Amber's
temperament and personality. I have only heard her growl once, and that was when my daughter and I were alone in the
back yard and a stranger abruptly approached us under the pretense of doing some yard work. Both my daughter and
I questioned his motives, and obviously Amberlee did too! Housebreaking was a breeze. I think she had, maybe, a total of 4-5
accidents, and only in the very beginning. She sleeps in our bedroom, and one night I was having a nightmare. She was immediately
at the side of my bed to awaken me. My husband's doctors are amazed at the dramatic improvement in his Alzheimer's.
(This time last year he was getting lost coming home from the post office...1/2 mile away) We spent thousands of dollars taking
him to the Mayo Clinic just last December! Now he is running a profitable Home Internet Business. I credit the healing
power of his growing relationship with Amber.
She is quite a rarity in our area, where labs are the norm. When we picked her up, you
mentioned some special care for her undercoat in the Fall. I don't quite remember exactly what you said. We bathe her
every 4-5 weeks and keep her brushed. (She loves it when she's not trying to eat the brush) I am thinking it might be
time to take her for a professional grooming, what do you think? Our local Feed and Seed special orders and keeps us supplied
with the Diamond Puppy Food for Large Breeds. When is it time to switch her to the regular Diamond for Large Breeds? Her stomach
is quite sensitive, more than with any dog I have ever had! We restrict her diet to just the Diamond Food. For her 6 mo. Birthday,
we wanted to give her something special, so I cooked a Roast Beef dinner and shared some with her and she had diarrhea
for days...poor baby...her whining was pitiful...and so was the mess!
Please give Amberlee's new brothers and sisters a kiss from her. I know you will find
each of them the perfect home! Love, Cindy
Dear Kris,
My name is Brittany Eberle,
I am Kevin Eberle's daughter. I was on your
website looking at the pictures of the new litter and thought
I would send some
pictures of Sebastian (AKA Bruno). These pictures were taken this summer in
California.
Sorry they aren't very recent, I will try and have Kevin send some
more soon. Thanks so much for the wonderful
dog! Take care.
Brittany Eberle
